EVENTS & SCORING
Matches:
Matches are organized by team versus team games composed of eight individual heats. Each dog on a team must run one mandatory heat. Each dog can run a maximum of two heats per game.
Teams:
Consists of 5 dogs per team including mixed breeds, size and sex. Teams can be formed with families, clubs, neighborhoods, work teams, etc. Team players may also be selected through drafts.

Overview:
Goal is to score points in individual heats to be tallied with the team for final results Each game will have 8 heats, with each dog participating at least once per game. Matches will consist of multiple teams competing at a central location.
Scoring:
Lure kill- 5 points plus one bonus point for complete kill or style kill.
Style points- 3 points awarded for jumps, hurdles, flips or anything just cool, ref discretion
Complete lap- 1 point, awarded when the dog completes a complete consecutive lap around the rodeo course.
Deductions- 1 point deducted when dog crosses over course without style (i.e going under hurdles or between barrels)
Heat Totals:
Competitor’s scores are tallied, highest score wins. The lower score is then deducted from the winner's score, the remaining points are added to the team's game points. After the 8 heats are completed game points are tallied and the losing teams game points are deducted from the winning team’s game points. Match points are the sum of what is remaining when the losing team’s points are deducted from the winning team’s points. Match points are tallied at the end of season to determine top ten playoff teams.
*** In the event of a tie a 3 heat playoff is played.
Total points scored during the heat are tallied per individual competitor for a season scoring champion to be crowned.
***Scoring challenges will be handled after the match and corrected in the standings should it be necessary. Teams must voice their dispute the day of the match and will be addressed the following week.
Registration:
5 dogs per team, $30 per dog for the season.
Referees:
4 refs to track scoring one up ref and one down ref per competitor. Referees are trained and certified by Motail6.
Vaccinations:
All participants must create a user profile at Motail6.com and upload vaccinations and fill out a health certificate and social media release.
